Privacy policy

Information pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking, embeds no third-party services and has no contact form. Fonts, images and partner logos are served exclusively from our own web server — your browser establishes no connection to Google, Meta, advertising networks or any other third party. That is also why you see no cookie banner: we need no consent, because we store nothing on your device.

The only data that arises are the technically unavoidable access logs of our hosting provider, Cloudflare (see section 3).

2. Principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website. We do not collect data speculatively, we do not create user profiles, and we do not pass data on for advertising purposes.

3. Server log files

When this website is requested, your browser transmits technically necessary data that our hosting provider stores in what are known as server log files. These are:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the file requested
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Message indicating successful retrieval
  • Browser type, browser version and operating system
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
Purpose
Delivery of the website, ensuring system security and stability, defence against attacks.
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically correct and secure operation of the website).
Retention period
Log data is deleted or anonymised after 7 days at the latest. It is not merged with other data sources.
Hosting provider (processor)
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes the access data listed above on our behalf, in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Delivery takes place via data centres within the European Union; access from the United States cannot be technically excluded. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023). Further information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website stores no cookies and does not access your local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). No access to terminal equipment within the meaning of § 25 TTDSG takes place — consent is therefore not required.

We use no analytics, statistics or advertising services. There is no Google Analytics, no social media plug-ins and no advertising networks.

5. No third-party services

All content on this website — fonts, images, stylesheets, partner logos — is served exclusively from our own server. In particular, we embed no external fonts (such as Google Fonts), no map services and no video embeds.

Visiting this website therefore establishes no connection to third-party servers. Your IP address is transmitted to no one other than our hosting provider. Only when you actively click a partner link do you leave our website.

6. Contact by email

This website deliberately contains no contact form. If you write to us by email, we process the data you transmit (email address, name, content of the message) solely to handle your enquiry.

Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention period
We delete your enquiry as soon as it has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Note: unencrypted emails can be read by third parties in transit. For confidential content, please agree a secure channel with us in advance.

7. Transfers to third countries

Our registered office is in Morocco. If you contact us by email, your data is processed there. Morocco is not a country covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission under Article 45 GDPR. In that case, processing is based on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at your request).

8. Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to us:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Article 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Article 21 GDPR)

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data (Article 77 GDPR).

10. Changes to this policy

We will amend this privacy policy as soon as data processing on this website changes — for example, if we were to introduce a contact form. The version available here applies in each case.
